Bob has served as pastor at Carroll Baptist Church in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for 32 years. He has been active in Southern Baptist churches since his salvation and currently is serving as an advisor to a committe formed in response to a motion he made at the SBC convention in New Orleans in 2001 regarding redemptive outreach to same sex strugglers. He has also served in numerous civic and professional organizations and was recently honored with "Bob Stith" day in Southlake, Texas. He serves on the Executive Council of the Texas Alliance of Raceway ministries which sponsors outreach ministries to fans and employees at Texas Motor Speedway.
He has been married to Dell for 36 years, and has one son, Rob, and two of the cutest, smartest grandsons in the world.
PRIMARY EMPHASIS: Bob is chairman of the board of Living Hope Ministries in the Dallas-FortWorth (TX) area. He has been involved in Exodus ministries for 7 years. He has a particular interest in speaking to churches, pastors, and other groups on the need for and benefits of support and involvement in Exodus ministries.
