Orlando, FL -
Homosexuality is an issue that has permeated every sector of modern
society causing confusion and many questions. Exodus has an answer. 27
years ago, Exodus conferences began with a mission to train, equip and
refresh its ministry leaders. Eventually the conference expanded to
impart life-changing ministry to those directly affected by unwanted
homosexuality. The impact of this conference has grown in proportion
with the maturing and strengthening of our network.
Starting with Exodus 28: We Are the Church, we will be growing again.
This year Exodus is strategically focusing on the Body of Christ by
encouraging their involvement on varying levels. Our conference
consultant Kelly Myers states," The Exodus message has never changed,
but its focus towards a more millennial approach in communicating that
message is definitely a great move forward."
Executive Director Alan Chambers states, "The mission of Exodus is 'to
proclaim to, educate and impact the world with the biblical truth that
freedom from homosexuality is possible when Jesus is Lord of ones
life.' The biggest impact one can have on our culture is educating and
transforming its greatest resource: the Church. Our mission this year
is to strengthen the Body of Christ by providing the best information
available on homosexuality. We are taking what we have learned and
equipping the worldwide Church to act as an army set on restoring the
sexually broken and building the Kingdom of God. There are people dying
to find God's grace, mercy and healing. We are here to give them living
and hopeful examples of abundant life found only in Christ."
This year's conference is only four short weeks away! Please visit www.exodus2003.org to register and find more information.
Each
summer, Exodus hosts the largest conference on the recovery of
homosexuality in different locations throughout the United States. The
conference is designed not only for those who are struggling with
sexual issues, but for married couples, parents, families and ministry
leaders. This year's conference is in beautiful downtown Orlando,
Florida.
