Exodus President Named to Board of Directors for two Evangelical Organizations

Orlando, FL- Two organizations
advancing the message of change in homosexuality, Exodus Global
Alliance and Parents and Friends of ExGays and Gays, have named Alan
Chambers to their Board of Directors. Exodus Global Alliance is an
international coalition of ministries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin
America that provide help to those in conflict with their
homosexuality. Exodus International helped to establish this
organization in 1995 and has rejoined its network. Parents and Friends
of Ex-Gays (PFOX) is national support network for families and friends
of those touched by homosexuality.
Alan Chambers is one of the nation's leading speakers on gender issues
and is the president of Exodus International - the largest evangelical
organization dealing with this topic in the world today. Under his
leadership, Exodus has expanded its member ministries as well as its
outreach. The organization now includes education and training programs
for pastors, church leaders and youth workers desiring to approach the
subject of homosexuality with biblical truth and compassion. Exodus has
also added an emphasis on public policy initiatives that affect its
constituents. In 2005, Charisma magazine named Alan Chambers among the
top Christian leaders advancing the future of the American church."I am
