Exodus International Enters a New Phase of Growth & Development

Orlando, FL- The world's largest outreach to those dealing with unwanted homosexuality is expanding its ministry to broaden its influence around the country. Exodus International is launching new efforts to expand its professional network of counselors, create an online resource center, streamline operations within the organization's national network and increase its influence on public policy issues.
New staff members joining in these efforts include . . .
ß Dr. Mike Rosebush, Director of Professional Counselors, brings over 30 years of counseling experience to this new role and will oversee the ongoing qualifications and training of Exodus-approved counselors. He will also coordinate with organizations that assist people struggling with unwanted same-sex attractions such as the American Association of Christian Counselors and the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality. Dr. Rosebush received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from an American Psychiatric Association-accredited program at the University of North Carolina and has been a nationally certified counselor since 1984. Prior to coming to Exodus, Dr. Rosebush served as Vice President at Focus on the Family. He is the current president of Coaching Confidant - a ministry to men struggling with their sexuality.
ß Amanda Banks, Director of Government Affairs, initiates efforts to address public policy issues that affect Exodus constituents. Prior to her position at Exodus, Mrs. Banks served as the federal policy analyst for Focus on the Family and acted as the organization's chief liaison to the U.S. Congress working on legislative issues such as bioethics, marriage, and religious liberty. She specializes in government relations, public affairs, lobbying, grassroots activism and communications and has been interviewed by CNN, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and National Journal. She majored in public policy at Indiana University where she graduated with honors. She is a current consultant for The Wabash Group - a public affairs firm dedicated to serving conservative causes and political candidates.
ß Terri Brown, Regional Representative Manager, will supervise the Exodus network of regional representatives around the country who offer hope and help to those struggling with unwanted same-sex attraction. Mrs. Brown co-founded The Master's Design Ministry of West Monroe, LA in 1998 and currently serves as its Director. She has served as Exodus Regional Representative for the Southern Gulf since 2004 and is actively involved in the Southern Baptist Convention's Task Force on Ministry to Homosexuals.
